Thunderball (1965)
Following a brief sabbatical, the fourth 007 movie, Thunderball, witnessed the return of the original director, Terence Young, who reverted the wardrobe to his own vision of Bond Style.
Having experimented with cufflinks and knitted ties in Goldfinger, the Thunderball wardrobe reintroduced the Cocktail Cuff Shirt and Grenadine Necktie combination favoured by Young - although the White Linen Pocket Square mysteriously disappeared.
The ever popular Midnight Blue Dinner Suit from the first two films made a welcome return, and Bond's new found love for the waistcoat from the previous movie continued with a Three-Piece Mid Grey Flannel Suit and a Three-Piece Brown Mohair Suit.
The Barleycorn Tweed Jacket and Cavalry Twill Trousers from Goldfinger carried over as the favoured out-of-office outfit, and the Navy Doeskin Blazer and Mid Grey Flannel Trousers featured as a dependable back-up, worn beneath a Grey Herringbone Topcoat.
For the scenes set in the Bahamas, Bond’s wardrobe included a wide selection of casual clothing, most notably a set of Camp Collar shirts.
